Brought to you by the Windham Disaster Animal Response Team (WinDART), this Emergency Animal Sheltering workshop is designed to teach participants the basic elements of setting up and operating an emergency pet shelter in their own communities using live animals. We’ll also cover basic pet behavior, handling and first aid. Our goal is to continue to build our ranks of trained volunteer responders in Windham County for both local and state-wide emergencies involving animals.
